"My paintings are Abstract Expressionist and entirely conceptual. They are bold and passionate created with conviction in response to a specific emotion or state of being.   My goal when painting is to say as much as possible without having a big discussion. It is the immediacy of abstract expressionist painting that excites me. I want  those in my audience to see what uniquely speaks to them, depending on their own situation.  Movement, Colour, and Passion are words I often hear people use when they speak about my work.  I have been most influenced by the great Abstract Expressionists of post World War II America. Specifically, I feel my work most resembles what one would see if Robert Motherwell, Franz Kline and Hans Hofmann had collaborated to paint something together."
